Hundreds of years later it became a mass graveyard of unwanted bodies of inmates from Salems Marsh Asylum. The rotting bodies spilled insanity, anger, fear, and horror into the land. The water and soil was poisoned. It fed the horrors that existed far below. Landowners and Innkeepers were driven insane. Any guests that were susceptible to the beckoning seduction of evil were also affected. Hideous murders were committed here, many guests simply disappeared.
