In another place in time, the Night Hag lived in the light. When it was discovered she had summoned a Demon, the entities near her sensed her evilness and punished her. The punishment was harsh. Her eyelids were removed and she was staked to the ground. The cruel sun had no impediment from slowly burning her eyes away. Blind and alone she was cursed to slither into the Underworld. The Demon she had summoned followed her and taught her how to travel and see again using dreams. That was the beginning of Nightmares. Only a Dreamer can unlock a door and escape the nightmare world. She pursues them in dreams until the door is unlocked and she can escape into the living world. She will bring darkness and terror with her. She must be stopped.
